EQUINA Repax

For nervousness, overstimulation, stress.

Nutrient complex made from high-quality L-tryptophan, magnesium and vitamin B complex

Supplementary feed for horses.

Nervousness in horses has different causes. On the one hand, it can be genetic or husbandry-related. High performance demands and stress can also have a negative impact on the horse's nervous resilience. Stress causes a higher need for magnesium etc. If, on the other hand, these nutrients are not available in sufficient quantities, stress management is also reduced.

“Annoying” horses pose a problem for horse owners because of their often unpredictable and uncontrolled behavior.

They are problematic in daily handling, training, competition and breeding (pregnancy), often get in their own way and are unable to reach their performance potential due to their nervousness and the associated constant internal and external tension and tension.

Nutritionally, 3 components are necessary for stress protection and a stable nervous system.

1. Magnesium

Magnesium is a main factor for the proper functioning of the muscular and nervous systems.

Magnesium supports the transmission of stimuli in the nerves. Undersupply causes overstimulation, nervousness, but also muscle tension and cramps (see also the  EQUINA Myofortil muscle system ).

In the case of heavy sweating, diarrhea and fever, the requirement also increases because magnesium is also excreted as an electrolyte (see also  EQUINA Hydrolyte electrolyte system ).

Magnesium must be taken daily. But the levels in the basic feed can fluctuate greatly. To ensure this, the basic feed should be mineralized (see also basic supply  EQUINA Meganutril ).

Magnesium comes in various compound forms. Not all of them are available and effective for the organism.

2. L-Tryptophan

L-Tryptophan is an amino acid that is formed from proteins. It is essential, meaning it cannot be produced by the horse and must therefore be consumed daily.

L-Tryptophan is responsible for the formation of serotonin, which acts as a neurotransmitter and determines the horse's positive mood.

3 B vitamins

One of the main tasks of the B vitamins (and especially B1, B2, B6 and B12) is to support the function and build up of nerve tissue.

B vitamins are formed in the intestinal flora. However, if you are nervous or overstimulated, there is an increased need for this.

EQUINA Repax  is a nutrient concentrate that stabilizes nerve metabolism. This restores nervous resilience in general, but also in training, competition or other stressful situations.

EQUINA Repax  contains:

  • Magnesium
(5-fold complex) - as a nerve protection factor

  • L-Tryptophan
    – to improve natural stress protection

  • Vitamins B1, B2, B6
    – to support nerve metabolism

  • Vitamin B12 and nicotinic acid
    – for revitalization and energy production

  •

Premium Selection

The nutrients used are physiologically adapted to the horse's needs. They are manufactured in a nutrient-friendly manner and are characterized by high bioavailability and effectiveness with the best possible acceptance.

Opinions

Rachela / UK: "My mare has only been taking EQUINA Repax
for a week and is already like a new person. She didn't even walk with me and she hasn't humped since then! I'm so proud of her and happy with her, but Most importantly, my self-confidence has improved enormously. She also walks much better in her new bridle. She is a horse that when she doesn't really exert herself or concentrate, starts nodding her head (especially at the trot), which sometimes happens looks like she's running unevenly or is lame. But that usually goes away once she canter well in training. She's still in the learning phase and is far from perfect, but I'm very, very proud of her and hers Development!"
